Embracing Our Youngest Members

At United Presbyterian Church of Whitinsville, we believe that children are an integral part of God's family, and we are committed to including them in all aspects of church life. Our Children's Ministry is designed to provide a nurturing and warm environment where children can grow in their faith and discover the love of God.

Programs Offered

We offer various service opportunities for children, inviting them to participate in worship and ministry alongside the congregation.

Junior Church

  • Description: Junior Church is an interactive worship time for kids 4-7 years old. It offers a fun and engaging way for children to learn about God's love through music, storytelling, crafts, and games. Children are encouraged to join us at 10:30 AM for the beginning of our Worship Service, and then they are invited to go downstairs for their own time of worship and learning.

Location

Junior Church takes place downstairs during the Worship Service.

Note

Children are allowed to remain in worship with their parents if they prefer. A quiet room is available at the back of the sanctuary for families who need a little more space to get comfortable.

Quiet Room

We provide a quiet room in the back of the sanctuary for parents who may need a moment of respite or privacy while caring for their children during worship.

Volunteer Nursery Attendant

Parent volunteers staff a nursery during morning worship service for children five and under. Children’s bulletins with activities are available for ages five and up at the welcome center desk. Parents need to request this service.
